West Albuquerque is comprised of three major neighborhoods.
Closest to I-40, is Ladera, with a centrally located golf course. Further
north is Taylor Ranch, with access to east Albuquerque via the city's
newest bridge on Montano Road. Views across the valley to the Sandia
mountains can be spectacular from many parts of the west side. Housing
developments are continuing in all three areas and home prices are significantly
lower compared to East Albuquerque.
